Riverdale Middle

   The week of April 8th - 12th, all students will be engaged in the state standardized test. The 6th and 7th graders will take the iLEAP test starting on Monday with Math. The 8th Graders will continue with the LEAP test, Monday will continue with the ELA section. Many of our special needs students will take the LAA2 test. This test begins on Monday with the ELA component.

    Parents please help your child by making sure that they get a good nights rest before the test and that they eat a good breakfast. If you can send your child with a lunch on Monday April 8th that would help out tremendously. The students will be testing for a lengthy period, and if you could send them with a bag lunch then it would allow us to take an extended break in between tests and give the students a much needed boost. 

   The students must be here everyday and on time. They must put forward their best effort. This test is a reflection of what they have learned throughout this school year. The scores will be counted in their final average as well as used to determine what courses a student takes next year.

After school tutoring will start on October 1st. The students will stay form 3 00 to 4 00. Students must be picked up from tutoring by 4 00. As per our agenda if a student is not picked up in
